In this online masterclass, best-selling author S J Watson will help you navigate the world of self-promotion, to build your profile as a writer. He'll delve into the different social media platforms you should be using and how to make the most of them as tools. Plus, he'll discuss how you can use subscription newsletter platform Substack to build, and connect with, a community of engaged readers.

Whether you are writing fiction or non-fiction, this masterclass will be full of essential advice to help you find your readership and get your name out there.

This masterclass will be online via Teams. It will also be recorded so if you are unable to attend live, you'll be able to catch-up and access the recording for up to two weeks after the event has taken place.

S J Watson

S J Watson's first novel, Before I Go To Sleep, became a phenomenal international success and has now sold over 6,000,000 copies worldwide. It won the Crime Writers’ Association Award for Best Debut Novel and the Galaxy National Book Award for Crime Thriller of the Year and has been translated into more than 40 languages. The film of the book, starring Nicole Kidman, Colin Firth and Mark Strong, and directed by Rowan Joffe, was released in September 2014.
 
S J Watson’s second novel, Second Life, a psychological thriller, was published to acclaim in 2015. S J Watson's new novel, Final Cut, was published to rave reviews in August 2020.

The workshop fee of £30 (incl. VAT) is payable in full online. Please note that payment instalment plans are available for all W&A events, writing courses and editing services, as part of our accessibility scheme. Contact W&A Admin on events@writersandartists.co.uk so that we can find a payment schedule that works for you.

This is a live online event which will be presented using video conferencing software. Joining instructions and full guidance will be provided by the W&A Team a week before the event start-date. Please note, all event timings are in UK time.
